Landscape Gardener

We’re growing our team this fall and looking for a Landscape Gardener to join our team of passionate horticulturalists and landscape professionals. You’ll work on beautiful residential properties throughout Greater Victoria, caring for high-end gardens and helping create outdoor spaces that our clients are proud of.

This is a hands-on role with lots of variety. Your days might include pruning and planting, maintaining lawns and garden beds, troubleshooting irrigation, operating small equipment, or working alongside the team on other landscape projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to build your horticultural skills, learn new things, and take on more responsibility as you gain experience. We value people who take pride in their work, enjoy being part of a team, and are always looking for ways to improve.

What You’ll Do

Depending on the property and season, your days may include:

  • Garden and landscape maintenance

  • Pruning, planting, and plant care

  • Lawn maintenance

  • Weeding and cultivating garden beds

  • Irrigation repairs and troubleshooting

  • Operating small landscaping equipment

  • Using a variety of hand and power tools

  • Maintaining high-end residential gardens

  • Communicating professionally with clients while working on their properties

  • Working alongside the team to complete work safely and efficiently

  • Learning new horticultural and landscaping skills

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys horticulture, takes pride in their work, and wants to keep learning.

  • Horticultural education and/or previous landscape experience preferred

  • Genuine interest in horticulture and garden care

  • Customer service experience is an asset

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Comfortable taking direction and applying feedback

  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Reliable and hardworking

  • Good attention to detail and pride in your work

  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

  • Physically capable of performing hands-on outdoor work

  • Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence required, with ability to drive a company pickup truck
